# Setup X-Ray Client in Windows

I will suggest installing [v2rayN](https://github.com/2dust/v2rayN/releases) as your Xray client. Current version is 6.6 (19Jan2023). Please install [v2rayN-Core.7z](https://github.com/2dust/v2rayN/releases/download/6.6/v2rayN-With-Core.7z).\
Left click on V2rayN icon <img src="/files/-MaTJsqB7f0mEV8fwqje" alt="" data-size="line"> , The control panel will prompt.

1. Update all XrayCore and Geo files.

3\. Add VLESS server, for UUID and address, please refer to your server setup in Debian 11.\
Alias: Any name you like\
Core Type: Xray\
Address: testbunch.freemyip.com\
Port: 443\
UUID: 90000000-0000-0000-0000-00000000000a\
Flow: xtls-rprx-vision\
Encryption: none\
Transport protocol(networ): tcp\
Camouflage type: none\
TLS: tls\
SNI: testbunch.freemyip.com\
AllowInsecure: false\

3B. For user using Cloudflare CDN as backup connection, you need to add one more for CDN connection\
With the proxied record in Cloudflare, address as a.bname.com\
Alias: Any name you like\
Core Type: Xray\
Address: a.bname.com\
Port: 443\
UUID: 90000000-0000-0000-0000-00000000000a\
Flow: (empty)\
Encryption: none\
Transport protocol(networ): ws\
Camouflage type: none\
Path: /fallws?ed=2048\

4\. If you don't want to add plugin to your browser, right click on V2rayN logo <img src="/files/-MaTJsqB7f0mEV8fwqje" alt="" data-size="line"> , set system proxy

The logo should changed to red afterwards. <img src="/files/-MaTQGbKyZck9M33_6HT" alt="" data-size="line"> \
All browser they using default proxy should pass through your Xray server.

For user with multiple servers, you can switch server in menu.

If you don't want to change system proxy setting, you can install [Proxy SwitchyOmega](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/proxy-switchyomega/padekgcemlokbadohgkifijomclgjgif) in Chrome. \
Check or change the port in v2rayN
